Since 1965‚ Fries has offered their own unique Fiddlers’ Convention. The event is sponsored by the Fries Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. This Fiddler’s Convention is traditionally held the weekend after the Old Fiddlers’ Convention in Galax‚ VA.
