 orth towards Bedford. Cross the Hales Ford Bridge and travel about 3 miles
  and take a right on Route 608‚ Whitehouse Road. Continue on Whitehouse 
 Road for 6 miles. At the intersection of Route 608 and 626 turn right on 6
 26‚ Smith Mountain Lake Parkway. Travel 2 miles and turn right into the 
 Park entrance‚ State Park Road. Keep going on that road and it will take
  you to the Beach Pavilion. Also‚ park maps are available and there are 
 signs all the way to the park.
