Grayson Highlands State Park is perhaps the most scenic state park in Virginia‚ and thanks to the Rugby Rescue Squad and Fire Department sponsors‚ it is also home to the Grayson Highlands Fall Festival. The festival features a variety of entertaining activities including molasses and apple butter making‚ cider squeezing‚ a wild pony auction‚ crafts‚ barbecue chicken dinners‚ dancing‚ and old-time and bluegrass music. Come out and see the leaves in their peak colors at 4400 ft.
